Delivery

Mainland delivery

Our delivery charges are only £2.95 per order for up to 5 kits/built models sent by 2nd Class mail to a UK mainland address. The charge is £3.95 per order for up to 5 kits/built models sent by 1st Class mail to a mainland address. Over 5 kits/built models will be sent by overnight courier at a cost of £8.35 due to the weight. For an overnight courier the charge is £8.35 with the number of kits/built models unlimited. This courier service does not include Saturday or Sunday delivery.

Please note that offshore UK destinations i.e. Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, and Scottish Islands may incur a surcharge which is weight dependent and calculated as you enter your address in the checkout. We cannot offer next day delivery/Saturday delivery to these destinations.

Overseas delivery

We can deliver to anywhere in the world. Delivery for overseas orders will be charged by the quantity of kits ordered (up to five kits/built models or over five kits/built models). The charge is calculated for you during checkout. You will have a choice of Royal Mail (not tracked) and Courier (tracked).

Orders to Europe are £15.00 per order for up to 5 kits/built models by Royal Mail (not tracked).  Orders to Europe by courier (tracked) are £24.00 per order for up to 5 kits/built models.  Orders to Europe for over 5 kits/built models will be charged at £32.00 and will be sent by courier (tracked).

Orders to the Rest of the World are £22.00 per order for up to 5 kits/built models by Royal Mail (not tracked).  Orders to the Rest of the World by courier (tracked) are £45.00 per order for up to 5 kits/built models.  Orders to the Rest of the World for over 5 kits/built models will be charged at £80.00 and will be sent by courier (tracked).

Delivery times

If the item(s) are in stock and the order is received before 12 noon, your order should be despatched within 24 hours.
If any items within your order are out of stock at the time of ordering, we will hold your order for up to 5 working days so that you receive your complete order in one shipment. If an item is out of stock longer, we will part ship your order. Items which are out of stock will be sent at no extra charge to you after your first delivery.

Our office and warehouse are closed over the weekend so orders received on Friday evening until Sunday evening will not be dispatched until Monday.

Prices and Taxes

Trade Orders within the EU

If a legitimate VAT code has been provided our prices to TRADE customers will be ex VAT

Retail Orders within the EU

All prices include VAT charged at the current rate of 20% where applicable and this is chargeable on all retail orders within the European Union.

Orders outside the EU

For orders outside the EU, this amount will be deducted from the cost of the goods only if the country of destination is correctly selected. Destinations outside the EU may be subject to import duty. These are not included in our prices and are the responsibility of customers to pay on or after receipt of goods.

Faulty Goods

If you receive goods which are faulty or have been damaged in transit, please let us know straight away and we will either offer you a full refund or replace the goods at our cost. Unless the goods are faulty or sent in error you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend you use recorded delivery and obtain insurance, as proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

Spare Parts

In the event that any components are missing from a purchased kit, Timberkits will supply replacement parts.

Cancelling an Order

Cancelling Despatched Goods

If the goods have already been despatched we ask you to package them up, in re-saleable condition and return them to us at your cost. Please be aware that proof of posting is NOT proof of receipt and for this reason we recommend you use a signed-for insured service. We will refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any costs to collect the goods if you do not send them back to us. We will refund you as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of us receiving your notification.
