The Timberkits Design Competition is your chance to share your own unique Timberkits creation with other kit enthusiasts, win a prize, and see your name on the box!
SHARE YOUR DESIGN WITH THE TIMBERKITS WORLD!
The winning design will take its place in our catalogue alongside our other popular Timberkits designs, so hobbyists
around the world can share in your creation.
Runner-up designs will be featured on the Timberkits website and may be developed for sale at a later date.
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE
1. Completed models must work smoothly and efficiently.
2. Models must be constructed largely from solid wood, using plywood only if and where absolutely necessary.
3. Wherever possible, the model should use parts similar to those used in standard existing Timberkits designs.
4. Model pieces must fit within a box of internal dimensions of 24½ cm x 17 cm x 5 cm (9 5/8 in x 6 11/16 in)
5. Your working model must be submitted post-paid to Timberkits at address below, and be received on or before March 1st.
6. The winning design may be further developed and modified to fit within Timberkits cost and production requirements.
Final assembly instructions will be written by Timberkits to match our easy to follow 'house style'.
A list of procedures to follow would be advisable from the designer, as a basis for these instructions.
7. Once completed, the design will be the property of Timberkits. Full credit and publicity will be given to the designer.
